Lana Yanovska is a Ukrainian fine arts photographer, a video artist, and a printmaker based in Austria. She studied Art Education (painting and photography) in Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
Through photography and moving film, Yanovska explores the perception of gender and sexuality, and challenges the viewer to look more closely at themselves through her work.
Having taken up linocut and printmaking in the time of pandemic, she has started the journey into the play between light and shadow using minimalist approach in her work. Each print is a challenge of leaving behind just enough to tell a story and going deep enough to see a reflection of oneself in it.
Lana Yanovska is open for collaborations and commissions.
